Round 1 – 3 Apr 19 | Erlestoke
Army Cycling Mountain Bike Cross Country (ACMTBXC) Series 2019 kick started at Erlestoke Camp on Salisbury Plain 03 April 2019. The event was the first of five that will take place across the country during the summer. The series is set up as grass roots racing to encourage soldiers and officers to compete on courses that are designed to be challenging to both novices and hardened racers. #inspiringsoldierstocycle
Conditions on the day started perfect with blue sky, sunshine and a fresh chill in the air, not like last year i might add. The terrain was arduous due to features like “happy hill”, but once on top of that ridge line there was some sweet single track through the wood blocks.
